River adventurist, Jay Bicknell has over 16 years whitewater experience.

Jason Bicknell imageJason began his career as a white water kayaking instructor and taught the necessities for whitewater slalom racing.

In 1997, Jay delved into the art of building water vessels, his speciality is constructing aluminum jet boats.

During his career as a boat builder he acquired an intimate knowledge of jet boating and its specially engineered design.

In 2000, Jay introduced jet boating to the Sea to Sky corridor and Squamish RiverJet was born.

Earlier in his career, Jay guided canoe tours on the Squamish river; he now spends his time sharing the water ways with hundreds of people every year.

Squamish is labeled the Outdoor Recreation Capital. People travel from all over the globe to enjoy the mass activities of the Squamish outdoors. Located in between Vancouver and Whistler, you can reach Squamish from either direction in a half hour.
